Anna Lowenstein
Anna Lowenstein is a violinist, composer, teacher and music therapist from London.
She is one of the UK’s most sought-after performers and teachers of the Klezmer fiddle tradition (Eastern-European Jewish music)

Training initially in classical music and graduating with a BA in Music and Ethnomusicology from Manchester University she subsequently trained as a music therapist at the University of Limerick, Ireland, qualifying with First Class Honours in May 2025.
As a specialist in the Klezmer fidl style, she has taught numerous workshops both in the UK and internationally including
Klezfest and KlezNorth (UK)
Yiddish Summer Weimar (Germany)
Styrian Friling Festival (Austria)
Fiddlers On The Move (Beligum)
and as a guest lecturer on the World Music programme at the Irish World Academy of Music (Ireland).Anna’s theatre credits include the European debut of Toni Award-winning play, Indecent (Menier Chocolate factory, 2021) and the award-nominated Jewish pantomime, Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Pig (JW3 2023)
Anna’s debut album, Through The Walls is due for release on Adhyâropa Records in March 2026.
